Through this program, fresh graduates or early-career professionals can gain in-depth knowledge of the business, technical, and operational aspects of mining, preparing them for leadership roles within the company.

1. HDP – Foreman Production
As a Foreman Production in our HWA Development Program, you will lead a team to oversee daily production activities, ensuring efficient and safe mining operations while meeting production targets and adhering to safety and environmental standards.
Responsibility:
- Supervise daily production activities to achieve goals.
- Ensure safety compliance and promote a safety culture.
- Monitor equipment performance and report issues.
- Conduct inspections for quality control and standards adherence.
- Train and mentor team members to improve skills.
- Collaborate with management to optimize processes.
- Prepare production performance reports and provide feedback.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in mining production or supervisory roles is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the mining industry.
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools for production monitoring.
- Willingness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment.
2. HDP – Mine Plan Engineer
As a Mine Plan Engineer in our HWA Development Program, you will create and optimize
mine plans for efficient resource extraction, working with geologists and production teams
to enhance productivity while reducing costs and environmental impact.
Responsibility:
- Develop and optimize mine plans and schedules for resource extraction.
- Analyze geological data to assess mine viability and design strategies.
- Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and production teams for implementation.
- Monitor mining operations and suggest improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Prepare reports and present findings to management.
- Assist with budgeting and cost estimation for projects.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Experience in mine planning and engineering is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in mine planning software (e.g., Surpac, MineSched).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the mining industry.
- Willingness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment.
3. HDP – Pit Control
As a Pit Control professional in our HWA Development Program, you will monitor and manage pit operations for optimal resource extraction, collaborating with production teams and geologists to enhance efficiency and safety.
Responsibility:
- Monitor daily pit operations to optimize resource extraction.
- Collaborate with teams and geologists on pit management strategies.
- Analyze pit performance data and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure efficiency.
- Prepare performance reports and present findings to management.
- Assist with planning and budgeting for pit operations.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.

As a Dispatch Production professional in our HWA Development Program, you will coordinate the transportation and delivery of mined materials, collaborating with production and logistics teams to ensure efficient dispatch operations that meet targets.
Responsibility:
- Coordinate transportation and delivery of mined materials for timely dispatch.
- Collaborate with production and logistics to optimize dispatch schedules.
- Monitor loading and unloading processes for efficiency and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and movements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Analyze dispatch performance data and recommend improvements.
- Prepare reports on dispatch operations and present findings to management.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in dispatch or logistics is preferred but not required for entry level candidates.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the mining industry.
- Proficient in relevant software for logistics and reporting.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
5. HDP – Mine Control Room
As a Mine Control Room professional in our HWA Development Program, you will monitor and control mining operations in real-time, ensuring smooth activities and compliance with safety standards while collaborating with field teams for efficient operations.
Responsibility:
- Monitor and control mining operations in real-time using specialized systems.
- Collaborate with field teams for smooth production.
- Respond to alerts and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Analyze data for improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate logs of mining activities.
- Provide timely performance reports to management.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in control room operations is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with mining operations and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in control systems and monitoring software.
- Willingness to work in shifts as required.
